The Brocade 57-1000485-01 (also known as XBR-000412) is a premium 32Gb/s Short-Wave (SW) Secure SFP+ transceiver from Broadcom, engineered for demanding Fibre Channel Storage Area Networks (SAN). This Brocade-qualified optical module ensures full compatibility, maximum reliability, and optimal performance in high-speed data center environments.
This 850nm multimode transceiver supports 32Gbps, Fibre Channel speeds with auto-sensing capability. It delivers link distances of up to 100m on OM4 multimode fiber (70m on OM3) using a standard duplex LC connector. The hot-pluggable, low-power design includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time visibility into optical parameters such as transmit/receive power, temperature, and voltage.
Built for Brocade Gen6 and Gen7 switches and directors (including G720, G630, G610, and X7 platforms), the secure 57-1000485-01 variant provides enhanced security and guaranteed interoperability in mission-critical fabrics. It complies with SFF-8431, FC-PI-6, and RoHS standards.
